3. Casearia graveolens

Botanical Name : Casearia graveolens [Salicaceae (willow family)]

Common Name: Chilla
Local Names:  Bhokoda, Mori, Pimpari in Marathi
Location spotted: Charkop Sector 8, Kandivali West , Mumbai, Maharashtra

This is normally seen in small shrub form. But as per Pradeep Krishen's book 'Jungle trees of Central India' , this can grow to be a medium size (6-7 meter tall) tree. His book shows two photographs of such beautiful looking tall trees. So far I have seen it in a shrub form.
