1. Ipomoea violacea

The common name of this climber is 'Moon flower' or 'Beach Moon Flower'.
Ipomoea violacea blooms in the night and fades by morning. I tried to catch its bloom for several days with no luck. It blooms in June, the petals are so delicate that it must be getting damaged by slight touch of pollinators or raindrops and strong winds. To me its a very special flower because I could not still see it blooming in wild.
Now I have tried to plant this climber in the balcony garden of my house and will study its phases.
This flower is nocturnal, and its pollinators are nocturnal creatures like moths, nocturnal insects and bats.
